Apartment M — residential concept
An interior study for a contemporary urban apartment, in warm wood tones and filtered light
Bucharest · April 2026
Brief
A concept developed for an urban family, briefed around a generous apartment with unified day zones and clearly separated night zones. The programme includes an open living-kitchen with island, master bedroom with dressing, child's room, study, master bathroom and shared bathroom, plus a functional laundry. Design intent
The study proposes a warm minimalism in which panelled walnut surfaces become the visual spine of the apartment, while white walls and clean ceilings let light operate as the principal material. Boldly veined marble accents, matte bronze hardware and indirect lighting tucked into ceiling reveals create a calm, intimate atmosphere without recourse to ornament. [INFERRED — Carmen confirms]
