Blue Oasis — small office concept
A workspace study built around a deep-blue accent palette
Bucharest · April 2026
Brief
A concept developed for an independent professional who wants her own office tucked into a small apartment room. The starting brief was a focused place for screen work, with just enough room to host a client or colleague. The concept explores how a single bold colour gesture can carry the entire room without crowding it. [INFERRED — Carmen confirms]
Design intent
The identity of the room comes from a deep blue applied across the ceiling, recessed niches and panels framed in crisp white — a chromatic oasis that defines the space without extra walls. The furniture stays white and light grey, while the octagonal black-and-white tiled floor introduces graphic rhythm and a classic note. Pin lighting, trailing plants and stylised blue-bird artworks complete an atmosphere of quiet concentration. [INFERRED — Carmen confirms]
